This is Social, Community and Youth Work
- BA (Hons) Applied Social Work is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) meaning you’ll be eligible to apply to register as a qualified social worker when you graduate
- You’ll gain the National Youth Agency professional qualification in youth work on our BA (Hons) Working with Young People and Communities (Youth Work pathway). This will strengthen your CV and help you to stand out in the job market
- Our expert teaching staff have a wealth of experience in the sector and will guide and support you every step of the way. The 2016 National Student Survey revealed that 91% of our BA (Hons) Health and Social Care students were satisfied overall with the course and 90% of our BA (Hons) Working with Young People and Communities were satisfied overall
- We’ve worked with key service providers in both health and social care settings, both statutory and voluntary, with service users and other stakeholders to create courses that ensure that you’ll gain the skills needed to work in the sector
