The update makes this app really great. It's clean, intuitive, and displays all of the content very nicely. Highly recommended.

isn't free!

I could absolutely NOT sign-in to this "free" app neither with my Microsoft e-mail nor with my g-mail. I strongly suspect, however, that WSJ needs your e/g-mail credentials in their paper subscription data base to sign you in to their app.

Happy with updated version

Looks great across Windows PC's and Windows Mobile with a consistent design. Live tile does not always seem to refresh consistently, however. Looking forward to seeing how the WSJ team continues to enhance this application.

Love WSJ but the app could use more functionality

Would be great if I could swipe to go to the next article. That simple functionality would make reading much easier.

Great content and functionality

I would really like to see a dark mode like the android app, then it would be perfect.

Live tile isn't working

Update to previous review - In a recent update, the live tile feature stopped working. Pinning a section from within the app does nothing. Pinning the app from the applications list pins the app, but there is no live tile functionality.

Worst WSJ mobile app

Of the available WSJ mobile apps, this is the worst. Navigation is skimpy, it doesn't tell you where you are, (Am I in the Opinion section or Personal Journal, for example), doesn't reflect the content of the paper as found in the paper or show the publication date. The iOS and Android versions are much clearer and more useable. This version crashes roughly as often as the iOS version, but the iOS version is much more intuitive, not because it's iOS, just because it has a better UX.

Lying Right from the Start

$99 / 6 Months is NOT Free at least in my mind. I guess it's a great paper but you could not access material without paying so I'll never know.

Subscription Required

It would have been nice to know before I downloaded the app that you have to have a Wall Street Journal subscription in order to read the articles.

Awful

Not worth the money. App doesn't start, is super slow (not linked to internet connection speed) and doesn't store for off-line use. WHAT A DOG!
