The singer reportedly filed the papers in La and cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. Their decision to divorce comes just a few weeks after they announced their separation with a joint statement to People, saying, "After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple. We are, however, dedicated to remaining friends. There will be no further comment."
