Director Antoine Fuqua brings his modern vision to a classic story in The Magnificent Seven. With the town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue, the desperate townspeople employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns. As they prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money.
The magnificent seven was entertaining at first but seemed to lack a climax. Character introductions were sloppy, when you have to introduce 7 main characters it can take sometime also can you really do each character justice 7 times ? Once again I believe the writer has given up a good story for good actors. Suicide squad, The Avengers are just a couple of examples of how famous actors bring in the viewers regardless of the storyline. Also because of the lack of imagination in the movie industry we are left with remakes of old classics which usually don't do them justice ghostbusters, tarzan, jungle book, the list goes on and unfortunately this movie is part of that list.
If your bored one night and cant find anything to watch and must have something to distract your mind then this will be fine its a nice western with a few funny moments. But if like me you seek something brilliant that will truly have you entertained then move on because you will not find it here....
