Bertoli Mitchell is pleased to announce that it advised Electric Word Plc in the sale of Speechmark Publishing to Taylor & Francis, which completed on 15 November 2016.

Speechmark has long been established as a market-leading publisher of books, games, assessments and visual resources in Special Educational Needs, with particular specialisms in communication, and in speech and language therapy. The business also publishes books and other associated products to support professionals working in the areas of mental health and elderly care.

Acting for Electric Word, Bertoli Mitchell helped to structure and manage the process from initiation to completion.

The sale of Speechmark follows the sale of Optimus Education by Electric Word, announced earlier this month, and completes the strategic process of refocusing Electric Word solely on the continued growth of its SportBusiness Group.
