Possible Leaked Avengers: Infinity War Concept Art Provides A First Look At Mistress Death

Is this our first idea of how Mistress Death will be depicted in Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War? Word is that the pic below is indeed a piece of leaked concept art from the film, but we're still trying to find the original source so we can confirm it. In the comics, Thanos attempts to destroy all life in the universe in an effort to impress this embodiment of Death and win her affections. We still don't know if the movie will follow suit, but obviously if this artwork turns out to be legit we'll have our answer. Thanks to ScarletWarlock for the heads up. We'll update as soon as we know one way of the other. Update: So it turns out this is some Marvel concept art, but it's actually an unused design for one of the Zealots from Doctor Strange. Avengers: Infinity War is set to hit theaters on »

Video Games: Will We See Characters From The Watchmen Universe In Injustice 2?

Like or not (and if you're Alan Moore, it will definitely be "not"), the characters of Watchmen are now part of the DC Universe. It's probably going to be at least another year or two before we see the likes of Batman and Superman comes face to face with Rorschach and Dr. Manhattan, but based on a Twitter poll from Netherrealm Studios' Creative Director Ed Boon, they might just show up in Injustice 2!  This wouldn't mark the video game debut of Watchmen characters (they had their own episodic title back in 2009), but it will be the first time that they've been mashed up with heroes and villains from the DC Universe. Their involvement obviously hasn't been confirmed, but based on the results of the poll below, you have to believe that Boon and Netherrealm will ultimately try to make this happen. A Watchmen based Dlc pack would no doubt be a big seller, »

As a result, Justice League vs. Suicide Squad promises to give us an idea of what it would be like for these characters to clash in live-action because that's exactly what this series is going to be all about!  Of course, we have no idea whether or not the League will ever come to blows with Task Force X in a movie, but this series promises to be a must-buy when it starts in December. Talking to Comic Book Resources, Joshua Williamson also promised that it will help shed some light on the secrets of DC Rebirth. "I think the most I can say is, so far we know The Flash, »

Be Thankful For Harley Quinn With This New Behind The Scenes Image From Suicide Squad

The extended cut of Suicide Squad didn't really live up to expectations, but there's no denying that it's a pretty good looking movie. That's emphasised by the amazing work of photographer Clay Enos, and he's today shared a brand new photo which shows Harley Quinn heading into action against one of Enchantress' minions. It's a great shot, and kind of mind-blowing that it wasn't released officially.  Still, we can probably expect plenty more images like these from Enos over the coming weeks and months, while next year will no doubt see him share some behind the scenes shots from Wonder Woman and Justice League! Time will tell, but let us know your thoughts on this image below. »

Robbie Amell On Whether Original Firestorm Ronnie Raymond Will Return To The Flash

Fans of original Firestorm Ronnie Raymond were dealt a hard blow in season 2 of The Flash, when it was revealed that the character sacrificed his life to destroy the singularity that threatened to consume Central City. Ronnie returned later in the season, though it was an evil version of the character from Earth-2 - dubbed Deathstorm - who served the central villain, Zoom. This version of Ronnie was also killed off in the same episode. Fans of the show have held out hope that Ronnie survived the closing of the singularity, but during an interview at Heroes and Villians Fan Fest in Atlanta, Georgia, actor Robbie Amell seemingly confirmed that the Earth-1 incarnation is deceased.  "Well the nice thing is when you're dead in that universe there is always another Earth, but I think that version [Earth-1] of Ronnie is dead because he sacrificed himself to save the city, but you »

Rogue One: Check Out A New Image Of The Villainous Krennic As Ben Mendelsohn Discusses His Character

The Star Wars saga has a history of utilizing some very strong villains, and fans are hoping to see Ben Mendelsohn (The Place Beyond the Pines, Bloodline) continue that tradition in Gareth Edwards' Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. In a new interview with Empire, the Aussie actor shared some new details on his character and how he was able to rise through the ranks of The Empire. Plus, even though Director Krennic and Darth Vader are on the same side, it sounds like they are far from bossom buddies. "It's fair to say Lord Vader and he aren't friendly. Darth is very much about the Force. Krennic is force. Not really down with the whole mystical thing." "Krennic does not come "from the aristocracy of the Empire, if you like. He is truly a man that has made his own way up the chain through his own abilities. »

Belle Rebuffs Gaston's Advances In A New Photo From Beauty And The Beast

If the first full-length trailer for Disney's live-action Beauty and the Beast was able to set an all-new record for most views (127.6 million) within 24 hours, imagine how the actual film will perform when it arrives in theaters next March. The latest issue of Empire Magazine has debuted an exciting new image from the upcoming Bill Condon-directed film featuring Emma Watson as Belle spurning the advances of Luke Evans' dastardly Gaston. Speaking with the trade, Watson, who grew up with the 1991 animated classic, touched on how this role was a dream come true scenario for her: "Belle was one of my idols growing up. I knew every word to the animation. I was born in Paris like Belle. We both love books, obviously. She is someone who doesn't really feel like she fits in, but she finds her place in the world and uses what makes her different. She was just inspiring to me. »

James Mangold And Hugh Jackman On Their Plans To Humanize Wolverine In Logan

The trailer for James Mangold's Logan presented a very different take on everyone's favorite clawed X-Man. Despite being inspired by the Old Man Logan comic book storyline, Logan is shaping up as much more down-to-earth, intimate exploration of Wolverine in what looks to be his final days. In the latest issue of Empire, Mangold said that his intention was to make a much more human film, as opposed to the spectacle found in previous installments of the X-Men franchise. “The goal was to make something human,” he said. “We made an effort to scale back on the gloss and greenscreen.” Hugh Jackman agreed with the director, further explaining that the most important part of the film is exploring Logan's legacy and whether or not he has made a difference during his life. "It's essential you see this as the story of a man who is struggling with mortality and legacy, »

Kevin Smith Would Love To See His Superman Lives Script As An Animated Film

While director Kevin Smith has been on a roll lately with DC TV content, his ideas haven't always worked out for the best. Years before we got Zack Snyder's reinvention of Superman in Man of Steel, Smith worked on the script for Superman Lives, a reboot that would have seen Tim Burton direct and Nicholas Cage star as the titular hero. The film was shelved several times, never making out out of development hell. In a recent Facebook Live Q&A, Smith supported the notion of Superman Lives being reworked into an animated feature along with the cast that was originally planned, specifically with Cage as Superman and Michael Rooker as Lex Luthor. “I’m not going to lie, that would be fun to see," Smith said. "That’s something I worked on 20 years ago at this point, so that would be really amazing to kind of see, like »
