The 24-year-old actress, who starred alongside Fisher in her first feature film role in 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens, offered heartfelt words after Fisher's death on Tuesday morning.

"Devastated at this monumental loss," Ridley said in a statement to Et. "How lucky we all are to have known her, and how awful that we have to say goodbye."

'Supergirl' Star Melissa Benoist Files for Divorce From Blake Jenner

Supergirl star Melissa Benoist is ending her marriage to her former Glee co-star Blake Jenner.

The 28-year-old actress filed divorce papers on Friday, just two days before the Christmas holiday, citing “irreconcilable differences,” Et confirms.

Benoist and Jenner, 24, wed in March 2015 after getting engaged in the summer of 2013 following a year of dating.

They met in 2012 when they were co-stars on Fox’s musical comedy Glee, where Benoist and Jenner played high schoolers Marley and Ryder, respectively. Jenner also appeared in a two-episode guest stint on The CW’s Supergirl, the DC superhero drama Benoist currently leads.

According to TMZ, Benoist is seeking to change her legal name back to Melissa Benoist, dropping Jenner as a result. She is also asking the court to block spousal support for either party.

"It's never easy to lose such a vital, irreplaceable member of the family, but this is downright heartbreaking. Carrie was one-of-a-kind who belonged to us all- whether she liked it or not," Hamill said in a statement his rep released to Et on Tuesday night.

"She was Our Princess, damn it, & the actress who played her blurred into one gorgeous, fiercely independent & ferociously funny, take-charge woman who took our collective breath away," the 65-year-old star continued.
