“Timeless” fans who enjoyed this past Monday’s episode, “Space Race,” can now immerse themselves into the narrative thanks to the new 360 virtual reality experience, “Timeless: Continuum Recon.”
The adventure lets you take a journey through time while sitting on the Lifeboat time machine, while Connor Mason (Paterson Joseph) gives you a mission to execute. You’re then transported to July 20, 1969 at the NASA Mission Control in Houston, with the Apollo 11 moon landing just minutes away.
“Timeless” co-creators, co-showrunners and executive producers Eric Kripke and Shawn Ryan felt that the VR experience was the next step in taking their fans on a new historical expedition. “We thought the ‘Space Race’ episode was the perfect opportunity. People can look around. Explore details we just can’t put into the show. With this incredible technology, it’s like you’re really at Mission Control on the day of the Moon Landing. We think fans of the show will love it,” they stated.
“Timeless: Continuum Recon” is produced by SuperSphere VR Productions, based on the “Timeless” episode “Space Race” written by Matt Whitney and directed by Charles Beeson.
