Ryan Reynolds was at a rare loss for words after winning the Critics’ Choice Awards for best actor in a comedy for Deadpool, so instead of focusing on himself, he decided to turn the attention to America’s dad.
“I genuinely was not expecting this, I prepared nothing. So, I’m just going to focus on Tom Hanks,” he said while accepting the award on Sunday.
“No really though, you’re a huge influence on me. My 2-year-old daughter — the first full sentence she ever said was, ‘There’s no crying in baseball. »
