Goofs

Elizabeth (Jessica Chastain) erroneously claims that, "Any headcase, felon, or terrorist can buy an assault rifle from a gun show, the Internet, or his buddy at the Bowl-O-Rama without so much as an ID." It's a common myth that's there's a "gun show loophole", but it's not true. Anyone with even a minor amount of knowledge about gun sales, as an experienced lobbyist would, should know that. ALL gun sales by a licensed firearms dealer must pass a background check, regardless of whether they happen at a gun shop, a gun show, the Internet, his living room, or the trunk of his car. Guns ordered over the Internet must be shipped to a licensed dealer, who then verifies ID and does the background check. See more »

Bad Movie For law abiding Citizens
25 November 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This movie is not a good movie. There are already enough gun restrictions all over the US. Even more than the 2nd Amendment should allow. Not a Fan of this actress anymore I loved her in The Debt. Not anymore. As an Officer of the Law this is not a good movie and I pray that it wont take rise to today's political views. Movies like this spawn uneducated voting in polls and non disruptive views of the 2nd amendment. I know Liberals dislike firearms period and conservative does but this is starting to take effect as neither left or right just certain motives of certain corporations. No Amendment should be violated and movies like this push to violate those Amendments that shaped out nation and continue to prosper based on them.
