Your arrival in Lund
Arriving in Lund on Arrival Day
Most international students arrive to Lund on Arrival Day, about two weeks before the start of the semester. During Arrival Day, our international mentors will meet you at Copenhagen airport and at the railway station in Lund to take you to the building where Arrival Day is held to make your arrival as smooth and welcoming as possible. On Arrival Day you will be able to check in, and receive all information you need about life in Lund. LU Accommodation representatives will also be there to make it easy for tenants to check out their keys.
Orientation
Another reason to come to Lund on Arrival Day is that you will be able to participate in the Orientation Weeks. The orientation weeks are filled with activities, fairs, excursions, tours and seminars, and is a great opportunity to join a mentor group and make new friends, see new places and to learn more about Sweden and Lund.

If you can’t come on Arrival Day
It is very important that you inform your contact person at Lund University of your arrival date – either your exchange coordinator or your programme coordinator.
If you have a confirmed room through LU Accommodation, you should also inform them of the date of your arrival. You will need to go to the LU Accommodation office on arrival to pick up your key.
Visit the International Desk (located on the ground floor of the building at Stora Algatan 4) to check-in and receive your welcome package.
We look forward to seeing you on Arrival Day!
If you have any questions regarding the arrangements on Arrival Day, please contact the International Desk.
