Preparing for your Erasmus traineeship abroad
Language assessment and online courses
Mandatory language assessment
Before starting your internship, you will conduct a mandatory test in the language you will use during your traineeship abroad. After the traineeship period, you will conduct a new language test, to see if your language skills have improved. When your grant application has been approved, you will recieve a link via email to the online language assessment test. You are also required to take a second language assessment after completing your traineeship.
Language courses
If you feel you need to improve your language skills after taking the first test, we offer online language courses that you can take before or during your internship. If your test scores are low, you will recieve an invitation to take a language course.

Insurance
You are covered by Kammarkollegiet's group insurance, called Student UT. The policy provides both an insurance coverage and travel insurance. It applies 24-hours a day in the country of traineeship during the traineeship period. It also applies 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after the traineeship and during direct travel between the country of traineeship and the student's residence in Sweden. The insurance applies during holidays, provided that you stay in the traineeship country and that you continue your traineeship there after the holiday. Your coordinator will issue you an insurance certificate.

- take the final mandatory language assessment test (will be made available to you via email around the middle of the last month of your traineeship)
- fill in an online evaluation (EU-survey) (a link to the survey will be made available to you via email after the completion of your traineeship)
