Season 2 of Ash vs Evil Dead came to a blood-drenched conclusion Sunday night on Starz, and the Evil Dead ’Cast team is back behind the mics to break down all the dismembered limbs and sift through the buckets of gore in the show's aftermath.

Release Date Revealed for Horror Anthology Xx

Horror anthology fans can now mark their calendars for Magnet Releasing's Xx, which will feature short films from directors Karyn Kusama, Mary Harron, Jennifer Lynch, Jovanka Vuckovic, and Annie Clark (aka St. Vincent).

According to Bloody Disgusting, Xx will be released on Friday, February 17th, following its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January. Stay tuned to Daily Dead for our upcoming Sundance coverage of Xx and other horror films.

Synopsis: "Xx is a new horror anthology with a gender twist - all segments will be helmed by female directors and will star female leads. The directors have been given free creative rein within budget and time constraints, but all of the segments themselves will involve the horror genre."

Watch: Survivors “Rise Up” in Preview Video for The Walking Dead Season 7’s Second Half

Interview: Ted Raimi Discusses Playing a Possessed Henrietta Once Again on Ash Vs Evil Dead Season 2

As Ash's best friend Chet Kaminski, Ted Raimi turned in a scene-stealing performance with equal amounts of humor and heart on the Starz series Ash vs Evil Dead, but the actor also had the epic opportunity to reprise his role as a possessed Henrietta from Evil Dead 2. With the second season coming to an end, we caught up with Ted to talk about playing both roles on the series, filming the cabin cellar rematch between Henrietta and Ash, and his upcoming feature film directorial debut.
