The latest TV spot for Doctor Strange shows us just how arrogant Stephen Strange was before the accident which transformed his life. There are a couple of other cool new snippets of footage in there too as we see his training with The Ancient One begin, though the Russian IMAX 3D promo offers up some great shots of Benedict Cumberbatch striking some familiar poses as the Sorcerer Supreme. Warning: possible spoilers below…
It was confirmed a little while ago by Vin Diesel that the Guardians of the Galaxy will be appearing in Avengers: Infinity War as many had speculated, but we didn’t know just how much involvement they’d have considering the huge cast of characters. Well according to the chaps at Schmoes Know, one of them will be a “major player”.
The site is claiming that not all of the Guardians could feature in Avengers: Infinity War, with the rest of the crew joining in the fight for Avengers 4. However Star-Lord will be a part of the movie, and will be the first character from the group to interact with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. The site is unsure if Star-Lord will be coming to Earth, or if The Avengers will be going into space, but Chris Pratt will have a big role in the film.

Marvel has released a new TV spot for Doctor Strange along with the message, ,,puᴉɯ ɹnoʎ puɐdxǝ puɐ ɥɔʇɐM ˙˙˙sʞɹoʍ plɹoʍ ǝɥʇ ʍoɥ ʍouʞ noʎ ʞuᴉɥʇ no⅄, As you can see, the new footage shows the Sorcerer Supreme seemingly stopping and reversing time, and that leads to a very trippy TV spot which is hard to follow, but also very unique. Will more like this follow? We'll have to wait and see for now. Iron Man has been back in the news lately, thanks to increasing speculation that there could be a fourth standalone movie in the series. While we've long known that Robert Downey Jr. would continue to play the McU's most popular hero in ensemble Avengers films, it's been assumed that the Iron Man series basically wrapped up with Iron Man 3. However, when Downey Jr. himself posted a photo on social media showing himself with some of Marvel's top executives (and Tom Holland, their brand-new Peter Parker), rumors kicked into gear.
That has us thinking back on past Iron Man films, which really still stand as some of the best that Marvel Studios has produced. But now that it's been a little while since we've seen the character anchoring his own story, there's also something amusing about looking back at his films. Frankly, the McU and Downey Jr.'s version of »

With production continuing on Spider-Man: Homecoming, new photos have surfaced from the set as filming heads into New York City. These photos give us new looks at Tom Holland swinging through the Big Apple. We don't get too much insight into the plot, but we do get a closer look at the updated Spider-Man costume.
The photos surfaced on various Twitter accounts, as onlookers in the Big Apple got a taste of what's in store for Spidey in New York City. It isn't known how much longer filming will continue, with production beginning in Atlanta earlier this summer. We've previously seen a number of photos from the New York set, including photos with Tom Holland stripping in an alley, putting on his Spider-Man costume.
The earlier photos and video showed Tom Holland getting off a subway, but one source revealed even more details. Peter Parker is reportedly standing outside when »

Led by host George Clooney, Hollywood's A-list turned out to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Motion Picture & Television Fund, the longstanding support system for entertainment industry seniors and industry professionals. But it was an even older showbiz institution who stole the show: soon-to-be-centenarian Kirk Douglas. Clooney, who with his wife Amal toured the expansive Woodland Hills, California, facility that provides housing, medical care and other assistance programs for aging and ailing members of the show business community earlier in the day, opened the song-and-dance-filled celebration with a nod to both the Mptf and legendary film star Douglas' impressive longevity. »

Cast your mind back to the formative years of the McU and Jon Favreau’s Iron Man, at a time when talk of a shared cinematic space was reserved for end-credits and subsequently channelled through Samuel L. Jackson’s glowering Nick Fury.
It was here that Marvel introduced Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark to the moviegoing masses, a character who would very much go on to become the anchor point of this most successful of cinematic universes. An instant hit with fans, Rdj’s portrayal of Marvel’s genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist was effortless at times, spewing smart quips even when doing battle with former friend and business partner, Obadiah Stane (Aka the Iron Monger).
Indeed, by the time we reached the finale of Favreau’s actioner, Tony Stark was ostensibly waging war against his doppelgänger, and it »

As Suicide Squad continues to confound naysayers, its latest feat sees it achieve yet another box office milestone. Impressively enough, it has usurped the first Iron Man film to become the 50th highest grossing movie of all-time in the United States.
The David Ayer directed film starring the likes of Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), and Jared Leto (The Joker) sees the “Worst Heroes Ever” currently laughing all the way to the bank with a handsome $318,584,857 domestic gross, effectively dethroning Iron Man’s $318,412,101 take. It is quite interesting to note that Robert Downey Jr.’s first outing as Shellhead eclipsed his second, at least in a domestic sense, with the sophomore effort having earned $312,433,331.
Despite Suicide Squad proving to be quite leggy at the box office, the stone’s throw to surpass movies such as Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (#46 with $330,360,194) and Guardians of the Galaxy (#45 with »

It's been a slow news month for the most part, but expect October to be all about Doctor Strange as Marvel Studios starts to really promote their second Phase 3 release. TV spots, stills, and more are all no doubt on the way, but for now, we have three more motion posters to enjoy. As noted above, these highlight The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton), Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor), and Kaecilius (Mads Mikkelsen). We've known for several months that Robert Downey Jr. will return as Tony Stark in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but very little is known about how he will fit into the story. Today we have new photos from the set in Queens, New York, which show Tony Stark's car and some advertisements that reveal this Avenger is gearing up for something huge in the Big Apple. If these photos are accurate, then it seems this movie will feature a new Stark Expo.
A Reddit user spotted advertisements for the new Stark Expo in Queens, with this fictional event set to take place between October 17-28, 2018. We don't know exactly if Peter Parker (Tom Holland) will be a guest of Tony Stark at this expo, since Stark essentially served as young Peter's mentor of sorts, recruiting him to join Team Iron Man in this summer's Captain America: Civil War. What's curious is that »

You may want to have your pinch of salt at the ready for this one, but according to Bleeding Cool, the Marvel superhero Nightwatch could be set for an appearance in next year’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The site reports that Sony employees have been out and about picking up as many Nightwatch comics as they can in order to research the character for a movie appearance, potentially in Spider-Man: Homecoming. They also speculate that Nightwatch could be Bokeem Woodbine’s character rather than Shocker, which seems a bit of a stretch given that a) we’ve seen Woodbine listed as Shocker on a leaked call sheet, and b) he looks nothing like Nightwatch in costume.
Nightwatch was created by Terry Kavanagh and Alex Saviuk and made his debut back in 1993 in Web of Spider-Man #99 (hence the reason the character falls under Sony’s remit in terms of movie rights). He »
