Would be nice if police ticketed texters like they ticket speeders. Speeders are usually paying attention to the road while texters don't give a damn.
Where do you live, that people who use their phones while driving don't get ticketed? Or are you saying it doesn't happen as frequently as it does to speeders?

On the way to Florida I saw countless troopers sitting on the side of the freeway with laser guns to clock people's speeds meanwhile this young girl is driving her 3000lb Jetta in the lane next to me with her knees so she can text. Also have countless mopheads who sit in the left lane on their cell phone.

All they need is for a Democrat to refer to these comments to make it newsworthy enough to dig out of the archives. It's not editorializing if you're showing that what someone is talking about really happened.
Almost as if the media benefits from America being in turmoil as they have never had such high viewership. In my opinion the media is trying to prolong this trump train with their selective framing. We are almost at the climax of the story.
I worked for a short time in a bowling alley as a mechanic in the back. On these models, there is a big arm on each machine that rotates dropping the pinsetter down and back up. The force is so strong that my boss showed me by putting a pin in its way. The arm smashed right through the pin and tore it in half, splintering everywhere. It didn't slow down.
Do not run and slide into the pins as a joke, and get smashed to death.
This tip can apply for all machinery. Most machines don't "feel" force so putting the wrong appendage in the wrong place will gravely injury you.
I was betting on crushing debt and a global depression followed by multiple climate disasters. Now it looks more like partisan bickering leading to domestic terrorism and rise of fascism. Sadly like playing choose your own dystopian timeline.

Nothing he has done to this point has caused enough of a shitstorm. The media frames it in such a way that it can't take a full foothold in the minds of the public. Even if it does cause a shitstorm, Trump will just manufacture another scandal to divert attention and the media will eat it up. The increasingly hedonistic population will only care when they are hurting.

Thats why it wont matter until automation comes for the white collar workers. Nothing will change until a significant chunk this country is actually in danger of dying from starvation. I really believe automation will be the catalyst for that change. If your job relies on looking at reports or graphs and making a decision, your job will be automated by an AI in the next 10-20 years. If our current society which only values those who "work" is still around, I think it will just result in thousands dying. After we got cars, we have a lot fewer horses.
