Inhumans TV Show Won't Star Vin Diesel as Black Bolt

When Marvel Studios unveiled Marvel Phase 3 back in 2014, one of the final movies in this lineup was Inhumans. The sci-fi superhero adventure was originally slated for a November 2, 2018 release, before being pushed to July 12, 2019 and then being "delayed indefinitely" back in April. Earlier this week, Marvel made the surprise announcement that Inhumans will now become an ABC TV series. But fans shouldn't expect one of the long-rumored cast members, Vin Diesel, starring in the small screen version.

Earlier this year, Vin Diesel hinted that, even though he lends his voice to Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy, he could still "totally be something else," and portray a difference Marvel character. While he didn't mention the character by name, many fans thought he might be referring to Black Bolt. Now that Inhumans is making the transition to the small screen, fans are still wondering if Vin Diesel still may portray Black Bolt. »

Earlier in the year, Heroic Hollywood reported that Darkseid would appear in some sort of flashback sequence in Justice League. Now a new report from The Wrap appears to confirm that he will appear in the prologue of the movie. Here is what they had to say.

How Rogue One Got Help from Star Wars Creator George Lucas

Disney purchased all of Lucasfilm from George Lucas back in 2012 for more than $4 billion. While they have maintained respect publically for the creator of Star Wars, he has had little involvement in the new movies. At least as far as we know. It turns out that he actually had some influence on director Gareth Edwards and the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Gareth Edwards recently spoke to Games Radar/Total Film about the upcoming Star Wars spinoff movie. George Lucas paid a little visit to the set and during that visit, the creator of a galaxy far far away saw some things that he liked, but weren't going to make it into the movie. The opinion of George Lucas changed that. Here is what Gareth Edwards had to say.

"Whatever [Lucas] liked was pretty much guaranteed to be in the film."

Chewbacca Actor Slams Shatner in Hilarious Star Trek Vs. Star Wars Tweet

There has always been a perceived divide in fandoms between Star Wars and Star Trek. Which is better? Well, that may ultimately come down to which franchise has had the worse moment, and William Shatner recently took a shot at Star Wars and the lowest of the low moments in a galaxy far far away. Yes, Captain Kirk decided to throw some shade at the much-maligned Star Wars Holiday Special.

Even George Lucas has done everything he can to erase the legacy of the Star Wars Holiday Special from the face of the planet. Somewhat unsuccessfully. It is considered to be truly awful and makes The Phantom Menace look like a masterpiece. The special recently celebrated its 38th anniversary, and William Shatner decided to take to his Twitter account to commemorate the event, by taking a shot at Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Chewbacca himself, Peter Mayhew.

James Gunn Throws Down $100K Guardians of the Galaxy Easter Egg Challenge

As most fans already know, Easter eggs are one of the truly fun and distinguishing elements of movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Perhaps nobody took advantage of putting Easter eggs in their movie like James Gunn did with Guardians of the Galaxy. However, there is still one huge Easter egg that nobody has found, at least according to the director, and now he has put up a lot of money to assure a fan how serious he is.

Yesterday, James Gunn decided to do a Q&A on his Facebook page, something he often does. Another thing that often happens these days is fans asking about that final Easter egg. When a fan claimed the Easter egg didn't exist and that James Gunn was being the "ultimate troll," he decided to show just how serious he was, to the tune of $100,000. AMC Theaters Warn of Higher Ticket Prices for Bigger Movies

AMC is about to become the largest theater operator in the world and that means they have a lot of power. They will also be making a lot of money, but they aren't content with a lot, as they are looking to add some more revenue to their stream. The problem? It is going to come at a cost to the consumer and make it more expensive to see the year's most popular movies.

The Hollywood Reporter was present at the recent Mkm Partners Entertainment, Leisure and Consumer Technology Conference. During the conference, AMC Entertainment CFO Craig Ramsey spoke and talked about potentially doing "variable pricing in the U.S." Here is what he had to say, according to THR.

"They [Odeon & Uci] are further advanced in variable pricing, where tentpole movies are priced up on release. That's something we've talked about in the U.S. We expect to learn a lot with what they've done. »

Garrett Hedlund on Taking Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk | Exclusive

Garrett Hedlund delivers one of the year's best supporting performances as Sergeant Dime in Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk. Based on the critically acclaimed novel by Ben Fountain, the film is adapted for the screen by the three time Oscar winner Ang Lee. A satirical drama juxtaposing the reality of war against public perception, Billy Lynn is the first film to be shot using 4K 3D cameras at 120 frames per second. The standard frame rate is 28 fps, so Billy Lynn has a hyper-realistic, ultra-detailed look. It is another technological leap from one of Hollywood's all time great filmmakers.

British actor Joe Alwyn, in his screen debut, stars as decorated war hero and soft-spoken Texan, Private Billy Lynn. Set in the early days of the Iraq War, Billy Lynn and his platoon are flown back to the U.S. to be honored during the halftime show at a Dallas football game. »
