Exclusive: Matt Damon Reveals He's Got a Cameo in Upcoming 'Ocean's Eight'

Matt Damon has been touting the upcoming all-female heist comedy, Ocean's Eight, for months, but it turns out the Oscar winner might actually have a role in the film.
Speaking with Et's Carly Steel at the premiere of Manchester By The Sea at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California, on Monday, Damon – who starred as pickpocket Linus Caldwell alongside Brad Pitt and George Clooney in Ocean's Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen -- revealed that he's going to be shooting a cameo.
"I'm doing a little bit in the movie," Damon shared. "I haven't read it yet, but the cast is phenomenal and I'm excited to see what those women do with it. It's going to be fun."

The couple, who began dating over a year ago, struck up a relationship months after each of them got divorced. Stefani split from her husband, and the father of her three sons, Gavin Rossdale, in August 2015. Shelton and wife Miranda Lambert announced their divorce the month prior.

Laurie Hernandez Breaks Into Tears After Heartbreaking 'DWTS' Routine Following Grandmother's Death

It was an emotional episode of Dancing With the Stars for Laurie Hernandez on Monday, following her grandmother's death just one day before.
In one of the most heartbreaking moments in DWTS history, the pre-taped package played before the Olympic gold medalist's performance focused on her relationship with her grandma, Brunilda, who supported Hernandez' dream to be a gymnast ever since she was a little girl.
"I am extremely close to my grandma," the 16-year-old DWTS phenom said in an interview in the package. "Growing up, she would always do my hair, she was always the one who would make me chocolate milk or rice when I came home."
Sadly, after showing Hernandez visiting her beaming grandma at her assisted living facility, the show revealed that she passed away just one day after the interview was recorded. The poignancy of the situation made Brunilda’s support even more resonant.

Bikers Rescue Stranded Motorcyclist Who Turns Out to Be Bruce Springsteen

A group of good Samaritans were immediately rewarded for their good deed on Friday when the stranded motorcyclist they stopped to assist turned out to be Bruce Springsteen.
Dan Barkalow was leading a group of bikers called the Freehold American Legion Riders back from a Veteran's Day ceremony at the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Holmdel, New Jersey, when he noticed a broken-down bike and pulled over to help.
According to CNN, Barkalos was "a little star struck" when he realized the biker in need was none other than The Boss himself.
"It's a day I probably won't forget for a while," Barkalow, 54, told the news network. "The moment I got off the bike I saw it was him, and he was a real nice, down-to-earth guy."

Dancing With the Stars pro Sharna Burgess made her triumphant return to the dance floor on Monday, after taking two weeks off to heal from a knee injury, and she made sure her comeback performance with partner James Hinchcliffe was nothing less than extraordinary.
Dancing a seductive Argentine tango, the 31-year-old Australian dancer decided to raise the bar by performing the entire number completely blindfolded, and she couldn't have looked more graceful and brilliant with every step in the routine.
Hinchcliffe was also eager to prove himself again after a minor mistake last week ended up getting him the lowest score of the night (which, to be fair, was still all '9's). So, for the cherry on top, the IndyCar racer capped off the number by doing a handstand on a chair, holding himself up for several seconds.

The Dancing With the Stars champion shared a sweet message about her late dad, Steve Irwin, to Instagram on Monday, a day ahead of Steve Irwin Day on Nov. 15 -- which honors the Crocodile Hunter host and animal activist, who died in 2006.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson made headlines when he posted a video of himself dancing in a Pikachu costume for his 11-month-old daughter, Jasmine, on Halloween, but apparently it wasn't just a one-time event.
"It's not only Halloween. It's about once a week," Johnson tells Et's Kevin Frazier. "I'll put on the Pikachu costume. It's a whole thing."

Jessica Simpson's Father, Joe Simpson, Is Recovering From Prostate Cancer

Joe Simpson is working on his health.
The 58-year-old father of Jessica and Ashlee Simpson is recovering from surgery after being diagnosed with prostate cancer two months ago, his rep confirms to Et. Simpson's prostate surgery went well and he's now back to work as a photographer.
"This is a blessing in disguise for Joe," a source close to Simpson tells Et. "It has opened his eyes to eating healthier and exercising. This diagnosis has brought Joe and his family together and reminded him that what matters most is family."
The source also says that Simpson's daughters were "devastated at the initial diagnosis," but have since rallied behind their dad. "They are being positive, uplifting forces for him and are helping him get through this. With Joe's faith in God and his family's support, he knows he will come out of this strong."

Brendan Dassey, 'Making a Murderer' Subject, to Be Released, Judge Rules

A federal judge ordered on Monday that Brendan Dassey, one of the subjects of the popular Netflix series Making a Murderer, be released from prison while state prosecutors appeal his overturned conviction, reports CBS affiliate Wdjt.
U.S. Magistrate Judge William Duffin in August overturned Dassey's conviction in the 2005 murder of photographer Teresa Halbach in Manitowoc, Wisc. Dassey has been jailed for the murder along with his uncle Steven Avery. The state has appealed that ruling.
Avery was tried and convicted separately of first-degree intentional homicide.
