After a hiccup over back-end costs and Tom Cruise’s salary, Paramount Pictures has a release date for the sixth chapter of the “Mission: Impossible” series. “MI: 6” will hit theaters July 27, 2018. A minor production stall hit in August, with fees for producers (Cruise, Bad Robot and Skydance) at the center. The studio wanted those trimmed, an individual with knowledge of the negotiations told TheWrap at the time. Production is slated to begin at the top of 2017, with Christopher McQuarrie as the writer behind the script. The most recent »
