Muggles rejoice!

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them director David Yates has confirmed that Albus Dumbledore will appear in the upcoming, five-part Harry Potter prequel series.

“In the second movie Dumbledore comes back,” the director told Screen Rant at a press junket for the film. “He’s got a couple of good scenes with Newt (Eddie Redmayne). We’re discussing who would play Dumbledore, any suggestions would be good.”

The beloved wizard was played by Richard Harris in the first two Harry Potter films. Michael Gambon assumed the role for the final six movies after Harris’ death in 2002.

The news comes after Et recently confirmed another A-list appearance in the franchise -- Johnny Depp.

Following a cameo in the first film, out on Nov. 18, Depp will appear in the Fantastic Beasts sequel.
