VIDEO: Standing Rock Youth, Chairman Archambault - Obama Heard Us!
After President Barack Obama took the stage at the 8th Annual White House Tribal Nations Conference (WHTNC), Chairman David Archambault II from Standing Rock commented on the work of the Obama Administration.
“[Obama] said that we were being heard, that’s all I needed to hear,” said Archambault.
Chairman David Archambault and three Native youths from Standing Rock, Regan Dunn, Clay Byington and Gracey Claymore shared their hopes for the future with ICTMN: “No matter who the next President is, we youth have to keep going … we can’t give up,” said Dunn.
