The general collection include books, periodicals, serials, videos, scores, recorded music, electronic resources, and many other materials. Generally, we do not purchase textbooks. We select resources that will best support the research and teaching needs of all UAF students, faculty and researchers.

• Level 6 houses books with call numbers A-P, as well as oversize books.
• Level 5 houses books with call numbers Q-Z.
• Level 4 houses reference books and "bestsellers."
