He began his career with Air Liquide America in Texas in 1996 as a Project Engineer. Two years later, he joined the sales team as Accounts Manager. From 2001 to 2005, he held the positions of Sales Manager and Global accounts Manager. In 2006, he was appointed Director, On-sites for the Large Industries Group in Houston. He was promoted to Vice President, Large Projects in 2009, and in 2010 became Vice President, Operations Control, Americas Zone.

After working for over 15 years at Air Liquide America, Adam Peters joined Air Liquide Canada in April 2012 as President and Chief Executive Officer.
