Editor's note
Trinity College Dublin has informed us that it submitted (and signed off) some incorrect data to the rankings database which is likely to have adversely affected the ranking position initially allocated to it for both the 2015-16 and the 2016-17 rankings. Under Times Higher Education’s corrections policy, this matter is now being investigated and a re-calculation of the data will take place. Pending the outcome of this process, Times Higher Education has taken the decision to temporarily remove Trinity College Dublin from the 2015-16 and 2016-17 World University Rankings. The university will be re-instated into the rankings as soon as the corrections process is complete.
