Hollywood brought parts of Newcastle to a standstill as filming of the new Transformers movie rolled into town on Sunday.
Roads around Monument in the city centre were closed while production crews shot scenes for the fifth instalment of the sci-fi epic, Transformers: The Last Knight.
The film - directed by Michael Bay - features some of the biggest names in acting, including stars Mark Wahlberg and Sir Anthony Hopkins.
Army-like vehicles, helicopters and cranes with cameras could be seen around the city early on Sunday, as onlookers hoped to catch a glimpse of the Hollywood stars.
Road closures were in place at Grey Street, Market Street and Grainger Street until 12noon.
People were being advised to find alternative routes, while some Stagecoach bus services were operating slightly different than normal.
The filming comes after the cast and crew used several North East beauty spots as their backdrop.
Wahlberg, Hopkins, Bay and co had been in Alnwick near the castle on Thursday and Friday, before using Bamburgh beach on Saturday.
Sunday is thought to be the last day of filming in the region.
