About Newcastle City Centre

Newcastle is a city in the North East of England, which dates back to Roman times. It grew as a centre for the wool trade, then became a major coal-mining and shipbuilding area. Today it is largely a business and cultural centre, with a reputation for its nightlife. It’s known for Newcastle Brown Ale, Newcastle United F.C., the Bigg Market and the Tyne Bridge.
