Included are all private schools in Erie and Niagara counties, as well as private schools in the six outlying counties of Western New York that participate in the Regents or statewide testing programs.
High schools are listed first. Scroll down to see elementary schools. Both lists are alphabetical. The name of each private school is followed in parentheses by the public school district in which it is located.

Our rankings are based on the results of Regents tests for high schoolers or statewide tests for third to eighth graders. All public schools administer these tests, but some private schools do not. If a school does not participate in statewide testing, it is listed here as "not rated."
These abbreviations are used: ES for Elementary School, HS for High School, JSHS for Junior-Senior High School.
