Vermont Technical College is a public technical college located in the village of Randolph Center, Vermont (in the town of Randolph, Vermont). The College also has campuses in other locations, notably Williston, Vermont. The college is a part of the Vermont State Colleges, a consortium of Vermont's five public colleges, governed by a common board of trustees, chancellor and Council of Presidents, each college with its own president and deans. In 2007 the department of career services provided a placement report claiming a 97% placement rate for students who completed either a degree or certificate program[1].

There are roughly 30 clubs and student organizations. Some of the most popular are:
Coach Chuck Bradley has shepherded the Vermont Tech Baseball program to regional prominence in his five seasons at the helm. For many years, Vermont Tech played its baseball season only in the Fall. Traditionally, the team played a six week, sixteen game fall season. No more. Baseball has arrived—big time—at Vermont Tech.
The 2006-07 academic year witnessed Vermont Tech's entry into the NAIA and the Sunrise Conference. Accompanying this move was the establishment of a spring baseball season, in addition to the traditional fall season. In 2007-08 the baseball team will played a full 50 game schedule, evenly divided between spring and fall.
During the 2007 Fall Season the Green Knights posted an overall 17-7 regular season record and a 1-1 post season mark. The team was edged out by Southern Maine Tech in the Yankee Small College Conference Championship game held at Hadlock Field in Portland, Maine. The 2008 Spring season found VTC eventually losing to powerhouse Fisher College in the NAIA Region X championship game.
In the 2008 Fall Season, the team finished the regular season 4-7 which landed them with the 3rd seed in the playoffs which were again held at Hadlock Field. They went on to defeat the 2nd seed New Hampshire Technical Institute 4-0 in the first round, and then defeated the defending champions, Southern Main Community College 10-7 to capture the championship.
WVTC, Vermont Tech's 300 watt radio station with student generated programming and management, was forced to suspend on air operations in fall 2007 when their FCC license expired due to neglect. WVTC applied for, and was granted, Special Temporary Authority in October 2008 to operate while the license renewal process continues. The station also continues to broadcast online at http://www.wvtc.net.
CAMPUS LIFE
In addition to its outstanding academic programs, the college offers a wide variety of activities for students in addition to the clubs and organizations listed above. Intercollegiate athletics include men's and women's basketball and soccer, baseball, softball, golf and cross country. Intramurals are diverse and include both college and community resources. The Randolph Campus is located on 554 acres of land with many outdoor activities such as skiing and snowboarding, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, cross country skiing and snowshoeing, hiking and cycling. The White River provides excellent opportunities for kayaking and canoeing.
