The most dangerous hitman in the world, Arthur Bishop thought he had put his murderous past behind him when his most formidable foe kidnaps the love of his life. Now he is forced to travel the globe to complete three impossible assassinations, and do what he does best, make them look like accidents. Written by Anonymous
We are tired of seeing the Mechanic rebooted every three years, where the same story of a heterosexual white male is told over again with slight variations. What is to be lost by making the Mechanic Black? Or Muslim? Or Gay? Not a lot in my opinion.
There is nothing in the Mechanic series that prevents him from being an Black African or a Gay Muslim. We need more diverse heroes. We are living in a world where equal opportunity is not as far along as we hoped it would be. Color or race will not affect the Mechanic story, it will only make it better. We can relate to him in so many ways. It is time to give the minorities the chances they had never gotten in the past. We need to end the evils of blue-eyed "whiteness".
