North Jersey Media Group is ever mindful of precious resources. Our publications are 100% recyclable and our newspapers are made with at least 25% recycled paper and contribute 0% to deforestation. No trees are felled to produce our newsprint, which is made from the wood chips left over from trees harvested for lumber and other uses, and every tree our supplier uses is replaced.

Our newspapers use ink manufactured from soybean oil – a naturally renewable resource – and their plastic bags are recyclable and biodegradable. Our state-of-the-art equipment and digital workflow dramatically reduce waste, and we are exploring the use of solar energy as the primary power source at our printing facility.

We continually search for new ways to make our products as ecologically sound as possible.
