Conan notes Presidents' Day in his monologue and shows a clip of himself having an acrimonious dinner in an Italian restaurant with Jordan Schlansky. This being the fifth-to-last episode before the Late Night set is disposed of, Conan uses an ax to chop a piece of wood from the set to give to an audience member. Conan shows a selection of unusual channels from satellite television. Bob Saget promotes his new television series, "Surviving Suburbia." Conan shows a clip of himself and Max going to get a beer after a show. Thenewno2 perform the song "Yomp."

During the monologue, Mayor Michael Bloomberg shows up to recognize Conan's 16 years in New York by presenting him with a key, not to the city, but to the Port Authority men's room. Conan shows a 2002 clip of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog interviewing "Star Wars" fans in line to see "Attack of the Clones." This being the third-to-last episode, Conan removes La Bamba's podium from the set to present to an audience member. Martha Stewart shows up and Conan shows a clip of his visit to Martha's house. The White Stripes
Conan thanks the audience for the massive applause at the start of this final episode. John Mayer is seen in a video greeting warning Conan in song, "L.A.'s Gonna Eat You Alive." Conan shows a clip in which he releases Abe Vigoda into the wild. Conan shows a clip of his visit to an old-time baseball team that plays according to 1864 rules. Conan demolishes another piece of the set and has it taken backstage to be cut up and distributed to the audience. Will Ferrell enters as George W.
