A 'Must Have App' for Movie Lovers

IMDB in your pocket is a pretty amazing thing.

Their database is immense and the information on this App is updated constantly.

Usually, I don't agree with most Pro critics. So a large variety of available ratings is key for me and they've got variety galore!

Big-Time Bonus Feature: They have the BEST image galleries and collection of video clips! All of your favorite films, stars, series etc. are right at your fingertips.

The UI is my one pet-peeve. Users know you've got all the information we could want (more than we could ever use) but do you have to cram it all together?

Maybe just easing up and giving a little breathing room between sections would make it seem more user-friendly.

I've been an iPhone owner since the first day the original iPhone was released for sale in the US and over time I've owned 4000+ Apps.
And if I find it rather cluttered - it must seem pretty intimidating to those who are new to mobile.

Overall - I Highly Recommend

Perfect iPhone, almost iPad

Update:
I recently noticed that my Watchlist is in the actual List section. When I click this List titled Watchlist I have ability to remove movies from the List by swiping to delete. However, in doing so the movie deleted from this List is not actually deleted from the Watchlist (it still has the checkmark on it and the number in my Watchlist has not changed). This is a bug, of course, and needs to be fixed.

Original review:

Very glad that I can organize my ratings by release year with this new update. This make the iPhone edition perfect now. The iPad, however, is missing one feature: MPAA rating next to movie time and title.

On the iPad under a movie's title I can see how long it runs. Same with iPhone. However, unlike the iPhone, I cannot see an MPAA rating. This makes searching for the MPAA rating more tedious as I'd like to see if a Title is age appropriate for younger audiences. Also, it's just good information to have.

App has one glitch that needs to be fixed but overall no issues

I love imdb and the app. As a filmmaker however I've noticed some colleages having a trailer for a film they've worked be featured on their profile instead of their specific demo reel. This only seems to be an issue on the app and not the site itself and only for some profiles, not all. Discouraging as the demo reel is far more important for their specific profile, while the trailer should only be featured on the title page and perhaps on profiles without demo reels.
