Wednesday marked the third anniversary of Cory Monteith's tragic death, and his former girlfriend Lea Michele took to social media to share a throwback photo of him at the beach. Along with the nostalgic snap, the Scream Queens actress also penned a touching note, writing, "I know everyday you're watching over me, and smiling. Love and miss you Cory, everyday, but today a little more..❤️" She then shared the same snap on Instagram, writing, "We may not have gotten to share a lifetime together.. But the memories.. they're the best of my life.. Love you Cory❤️" Earlier this year, Lea paid Cory tribute by getting a tiny tattoo of the number five on her side in honor of his character, quarterback Finn Hudson.
