This show didn't make much sense from the first episode. Why Cole didn't tell Goins that he destroyed the world at the end of episode 1 might have halted all work on the virus thus saving mankind from annihilation by the virus. In the final episode, Jones inexplicably turns over the detonator that would have blown up the machine and terminated the experiment. Instead she turns it over to some blue freaks whose origin and purpose are totally unknown and may have warped the future even more. In my opinion there is nothing that dooms a series of this nature then unrealism from the very first episode but the writers need jobs and the series had to be extended to a full season. When you have a series where the audience says "Yeah right..." all the way through it, you know it will last 2 seasons at best.
