I'm not sure why but the goofy anti-Sony folk are constantly trolling this forum telling us to buy different cameras. Or, the raw purists telling you to never ever shoot JPEG. Super 35 mode: On, ...

You don't have to be a live grading guru or shoot slog exclusively to get good video results. Here are a few sites where I found some good tips using Cine 1-4 for good straight out of the camera ...

Being around here a few years gives you an idea of what to believe and what not. There are professional trolls, subsidized reviewers and just down right obsessed nerds that attack Sony with ...

I agree the sel24F18z has some qualities not present with other good lenses for APS-C. I have the Sigma 30/2.8 EX DN and it's great/sharp but images look rather flat compared to the Zeiss.

Where did you get this from? I nearly wore out my focus ring seeing if I could get this to work. It doesn't and I've been shooting Sony for years. Edit: Just realized this is for Batis lenses only.

Google Canon or Nikon shutter shock instead. Nothing unique and yes, no shutter shock on newer mirrorless but it will always be present with a flapping mirror.
-
I didn't know the d750 shot 4k video or had a high res sensor or silent shooting or evf or IBIS or could mount any lens. Interesting perspective.

Omg. You drank some koolaid that doesn't interest me at all. Go sell it somewhere else. I'm not the least bit inclined to go back to a dslr..... Ever.

Good to know. I was wondering if Sony sanctioned this practice.

I have heard the camera has the capability of sensing a fall and does some precautionary locking of electronics and the shutter/stabilization system. I believe Brian Smith mentioned it in a post ...

There's nothing like a new camera to play with and figure out. I see quite a few thinking the a6300 is overpriced and am surprised considering all the features. But if ibis was the important ...

I have the following in my bag: A7Rii FE28/2, FE2470z, FE1635z, Minolta AF135/2.8 w/LA-EA4, Sony 85/2.8 w/La-EA4, FE 90/2.8 G macro, FE5518Z and the Sigma Bigma OS 50-500 A-mount in a separate bag ...

Exactly the problem. Get rid of it.

Even sports! OK, I would shoot the A77ii or A6300 instead.
-
I'm sure you mean Gaston could shoot any lens on the Sony and have twice the resolution. With IBIS advantage the difference is enormous.
-
Thanks but would rather shoot the A7Rii under any condition compared to the D500.
-
I use a dedicated small/micro lenspen to clean my sensors and dampen it first with either eclipse or aeroclipse by placing a few drops on a clean cloth and then pressing the lenspen on the cloth ...

Stay away from Abes of Maine. I've had problems with them and they definitely will not deliver the A7Rii camera to you at that price or you may end up with a completely different camera like an A7ii.

The camera will be excellent unless you're a nerdy obsessive tester trying to break your camera in the first 30 days so you can blame Sony. If you're that type, go away.
