Metabones IV: Read this before updating to V0.50

I just updated one of my Metabones IV adapters from V0.49 to the, just released V.0.50.

I installed the updated adapter to an A7RII with my Canon 24-70mm f2.8 II. I then tried Eye Focus. Woohoo... it worked!! Using center spot focus on Small, I was able to quickly focus on anything. I then moved the focus point from center - it locked focus fast, but the focus was off, considerably (completely blurred). After fooling around for some time, things did not improve.

I then installed my other MBIV adapter without the firmware update. It focused perfectly with all focus points. I switched adapters about three times and, each time, the one with the firmware update had focusing problems (it worked perfectly before the update). As a note, it seems to lock "apparent focus" faster, with the update.

Perhaps this is a fluke. I will try reinstalling the update. For those contemplating the update, you might want to wait a day or two to see how this update is shaking-out in the community.
