Complete three lens kit..... weighs around a pound
Part of the genius of M4/3 is that it can do a lot of things. It can be great for stills or for video. It can be great for studio work or portaits, or for street shooting and grab shots. It pretty much can do anything you want it to do because there is so many lens and body options available.
It can do just about anything, except fit in your shirt pocket. But, a Sony RX10 III can't do that either, and it costs three times more than my GM1 and has a sensor half the size.
I use two camera bags. A medium sized one for my EM1 plus five lenses and accessories, and a very tiny bag for my GM1 with the 12-32mm, 35-100mm and 14mm f/2.5 lens. Plus two spare batteries.
The tiny bag is my travel kit. The camera with three lenses and two spare batteries weighs just around one pound.
This kit is so small and versatile that it goes with me everywhere. So I never have to wish I had my real camera with me and have to use a smartphone to take a shot. Because I always have a real camera with me. I am ready for almost anything!
The GM series may not be the best choice for a 300mm f/4.0 PRO lens, or a 40-150mm PRO lens, but it is perfect for small primes and compact zoom lenses.
