The FBI is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the suspicious death of 19-year-old Adrienne Celeste Salinas, of Tempe, Arizona, who was first reported missing three years ago today. Her remains were found on August 6, 2013 in a desert wash basin behind a residence in Apache Junction, Arizona.

Four decades have passed since the East Area Rapist, also known as the Original Night Stalker and Golden State Killer, terrorized California communities from Sacramento to Orange County by committing 12 homicides, 45 rapes, and 120 residential burglaries. Today, the FBI and local law enforcement announced a national publicity campaign and $50,000 reward in the hopes of locating the suspect and finally bringing him to justice.

Schuster has previously lived in Cincinnati and Fairview, Ohio, and he may be in the possession of the following vehicles: a blue 2008 BMW 135i with Ohio license plates 284XZN or a dark gray 2011 BMW motorcycle with Ohio license plates 20ZTQ.

‪#‎FBF‬: On this day in 1957, the FBI Laboratory broke a coded message on a microphotograph that had been found hidden inside a hollow nickel. Solving this mystery led to the identification—and eventual conviction—of a Soviet spy living in the U.S.

A handwritten letter by Charles Darwin that was stolen from the Smithsonian Institution Archives more than three decades ago was returned last week to the care of the Smithsonian.
