The women we surveyed as part of the POPSUGAR Insights Q3 retail-apparel study are putting that theory to the test. We asked women to tell us the apparel products they purchase and how frequently they refresh each.

Overall, 61% of women said they purchase new shoes every few months, with 12% of women saying they purchase shoes at least monthly. Fifty-four percent of women purchase new pants every few months, and 14% of women purchase a new pair of pants at least monthly. Fifty-three percent of women purchase blouses every few months with 25% of women saying they purchase a new blouse at least monthly, making blouses the apparel product that most purchased at least monthly.
