Is it fun changing lenses?

Some time ago, there was an interview with a Pentax executive who was explaining the popularity of the Pentax Q system in Japan. He said the Pentax Q series existed so people who wanted a small camera could experience the fun of having a selection of lenses to use. I thought it was one of the most stupid things I had ever read. Changing lens is a chore and nothing more.

Recently though I have bought a Pentax Q and I actually am finding it kind of fun. So maybe I was missing out on something.

What is your point of view on the idea of changing lenses being fun?
