Agreed, but in a way more challenging. My iPhone takes excellent very sharp photos too - when the light is right ... Deed

There were some people here wondering about the 12-35/2.8 and how the lens performs. I stumbled over this image taken in so-so light, a tad of hazyness, all in all quite flat. So checked the ...

Êxcellent quality shots! Difficult to shoot there totally unique as this area has been photographed for yonks and everybody so it seems has one of those shots framed somewhere. A clean shot, like ...

All good understand wheere you are coming from. Negative 287?? What type of roll was that?? Remember the F2 with the 200+ film roll?? But negative 287?? By the way: the K1000 was not a bad camera ...

Only with the help of a salesperson. Here is the thing: how can a wheel be both consistent and customisable? A mild contradiction, but that's semantics maybe. An aperture ring is just that and I ...

Haha .. you know when people use terms like "clearly" there is typically the mother in law hiding in the shrubs somewhere. You roll those wheels all at the same time, plus the exposure comp dial?? ...

Agreed! I use a GX8 and have no real issues with that camera, the wheels on that camera do the same thing and don't seem to be dependent on what the PSAM dial says. One of the things that actually ...

Yes, I get it! However to suggest that changing functionality is more intuitive than an aperture ring/shutter dial beats me. If you had a car like that where some wheels would do different things, ...

I will post some pics taken with the GX8 and that lens tomorrow, don't have any on the iPad... Short verdict: surprisingly good at 2.8 even if you expect good, expect a notch better - and you have it.

... and what's the 12-step program? Diffraction free at F1.2?

All good no problem! Thanks!

Yes ... I agree. I did a shoot comparing the X-Pro2 with the X-T1 at the original presentation here in Auckland and posted some pics. At the time there was no RAW available so I shot those pictures ...

The girl worked as a stand in for the model that had been originally booked. My comment had nothing to do with being rushed or anything but the camera on the other side. So you are barking up the ...

http://lloyd-roach.format.com/blog In particular the close up head shots are just stunning. Processed with LR, would be interesting to see how those files work with Capture One ... Deed

The GX8 comes up with L100, L125, L160 then 200 ... so you might be correct there, but those values appear within the regular scope, so I use them regularly. On my RX1r I quite often use ISO50 and ...
