Lady Gaga's 'Ahs: Hotel' Character Was Inspired by Robert Durst

When it comes to music, Lady Gaga is a chameleonic persona, adopting flamboyant styles and mannerisms both on and off the stage. But for her first foray into television acting, with a lead role on "American Horror Story: Hotel," the songstress said she took inspiration from a famous -- and similarly murderous -- source.

Jeff Goldblum Talks 'Hedonist' 'Thor: Ragnarok' Villain Grandmaster

We're still more than a year away from the release of "Thor: Ragnarok," the third outing in the God of Thunder's franchise, but new cast member Jeff Goldblum is excited for fans to see his take on the villainous Grandmaster, dishing about the part in a new interview.
Speaking with Empire, Goldblum explained the inner workings of his character, and discussed what it was like stepping into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, under the guidance of fellow franchise newcomer -- and "Ragnarok" director -- Taika Waititi.
"He's a hedonist, a pleasure-seeker, an enjoyer of life and tastes and smells," Goldblum told Empire of Grandmaster. "I thought, 'I can do that, I'll bet!' I'm working on my part every day. I'm a sponge, researching."
The actor added that Waititi "is encouraging me to improvise and make it my own," an exciting prospect for fans of Goldblum's past work.

We were overjoyed when Melissa McCarthy finally confirmed that she would indeed return to Stars Hollow for the "Gilmore Girls" revival, titled "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life." Now, we have our first look at the actress back in character as kooky chef Sookie St. James.

Tom Hiddleston Probably Won't Be James Bond

There's been lots of press lately about potential replacements for Daniel Craig in the James Bond series, with Tom Hiddleston's name at the top of many lists of potential heirs to the 007 throne. But according to Hiddleston himself, the likelihood of him assuming the Bond mantle is apparently pretty low.
Hiddleston dropped the disappointing news during a panel discussion at Wizard World Philadelphia last weekend, where he appeared alongside Chris Hemsworth to discuss "Thor: Ragnarok." But when the moderator asked Hiddleston if he wanted to talk about anything else -- say, announce a certain casting in a certain spy franchise -- the actor had to admit that the possibility didn't look so certain after all.

Jamie Lee Curtis Won the 'Warcraft' Premiere With Epic Cosplay

While the reviews for the video game-inspired flick "Warcraft" have been mixed at best, there was one thing everyone could agree on at the film's Los Angeles premiere on Monday night: Jamie Lee Curtis won the red carpet.
Instead of donning the typical Hollywood attire for the event, the actress opted for something much more awesome: full cosplay. Curtis walked the red carpet decked out as an orc shaman, alongside her son, Tom Guest, who cosplayed as an orc warrior. The mother and son painted their skin green for extra effect, and sported incredibly detailed costumes, which also included intricate headpieces and accompanying weapons.

British shows have never been more popular in the U.S. than they are now. Thanks to the explosion of online streaming sites, Americans can get their fix of British TV in a way that would have been difficult even 10 years ago.

1. 'The Office (UK)' (2001 - 2003)
Before Michael Scott, there was David Brent. Hilarious, cringe-worthy, and frankly brilliant, "The Office" was just two seasons and a Christmas special of some of the best comedy ever made. You can't compare the original to the American remake, simply because both are hilarious -- yet very different -- shows. No one who ever saw Brent's insane Comic Relief day dance will ever forget it. 'Game of Thrones' Episode 8 Synopsis Teases Tyrion's Return

Tyrion has been missing in action in the last two episodes of "Game of Thrones," but the wily Lannister will be back in episode 8.
HBO released the official synopsis for "No One," and it's as cryptic as previous descriptions.
While Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) weighs his options, Cersei (Lena Headey) answers a request. Tyrion's (Peter Dinklage) plans bear fruit. Arya (Maisie Williams) faces a new test. Written by David Benioff & D. B. Weiss; directed by Mark Mylod.
(Interestingly, the network did not release the synopsis for the crucial episode 9, even though it's been doling out these summaries two at a time.)

'Hamilton's' Lin-Manuel Miranda and Broadway Stars Belt to 'Carpool Karaoke'

Bright lights, "Carpool Karaoke"!
For the latest edition of James Corden's popular "Late Late Show" segment, "Hamilton" creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and Broadway stars Audra McDonald, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Jane Krakowski boarded the vehicle for a Tony Awards-themed songfest. Corden is hosting the ceremony this Sunday.
Miranda and Corden started the ride by rapping the opening number from the blockbuster show "Hamilton," which set records by earning 16 Tony nominations and is poised to win big on Sunday.
They were soon joined by six-time Tony winner McDonald, as well as "Modern Family's" Ferguson and "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt's" Krakowski, who are both veteran stage performers.
The group then belted out famous Broadway tunes like "Seasons of Love" from "Rent," "You're to Good to be True" from "Jersey Boys," and the epic "One More Day" from "Les Miserables."

Chewbacca Mom Meets Chewbacca Actor Peter Mayhew, Joy Ensues

Superman Is Coming to 'Supergirl' Season 2 (But It Won't Be Henry Cavill)

"Supergirl" is becoming even more super in season two: Superman himself is set to appear on the show's sophomore season.
The show, which follows the exploits of the titular heroine and her alter ego, Kara Danvers (both played by Melissa Benoist), will be moving from CBS to The CW this fall, and the show is making sure that loyal viewers follow by also finally introducing the Man of Steel in the flesh. Though Supergirl's more famous cousin has been alluded to (and appeared in quick flashes) on the show's first season, he'll now have a proper role on the series, in what is set to be a two-episode arc.
