Dwayne Johnson is adding a new superhero to his resume: Doc Savage. The actor said on Monday that he would be teaming with director Shane Black to bring the pulpy action hero to life in a new film, which had been in development at Sony Pictures. Black is planning to tackle the project after a Predator reboot for Fox. Johnson wrote on Monday that he had sat down with screenwriters Anthony Bagarozzi and Charles Mondry over the weekend "to chop up creative and break story on this very cool project."
