Lovely!! But I fear I'll never make it to Oz.

Camera and 16-55 updates worked fine for me.

Also, try putting the camera in Manual exposure mode to see whether that brings it up. You can assign that button to anything. The frame lines are automatically adjusted with Fuji lenses. I assign ...

Well that explains the "garrishness" completely, doesn't it? 😉 It's pretty extreme. I haven't seen anyone suggesting such a combo. If you are working with Provia or Astia, start with Color, ...

But you apparently never shot with an old rangefinder camera. if you had, the shifting frame would make perfect sense to you... not weird at all. If you want a key point, choose single point AF ...

This is likely the problem. Looks like colors could even be at +4.

My experience with the X-Pro2 doesn't parallel yours at all. The colors are easily as good as the first generation X-Trans. What film simulation are you using? Post a sample of the "problem."

None of your responses are really appropriate for those who are pleased with their switch from an XT to an XP model. This is a silly poll.

I'm inclined to agree with you, and use spot-metering sometimes at on-stage events myself, but I find that for a concert where the performers are moving around a lot, the matrix metering solution ...

As others have suggested, switch to matrix metering. Then use your EVF exposure and the overlaid histogram to judge how much EC you need. You will no longer see the wild EVF exposure fluctuations ...

I was surprised the other day when I resized a sharp X-P2 file to 200% of its original size, that when viewed at 100% on screen, it appeared very sharp, as if it could have been shot by a camera ...

I agree completely . Great idea; useless implementation.
-
I agree... The out of focus background is way too busy and claims the entire photo; it's not blurred enough to fall quietly into the background.
-
It's the lens that's typically on my X-Pro2 as well. Well worth its weight/size.

How wonderfully sweet it is to be able to slide the 16-55 beyond 18mm and effortlessly out to 16. So sweet to go ahead and shoot while those with the 18-55 / 16mm combo are still changing lenses. ...
-
You missed the fact that you don't get the 16mm with the 18-55, which is huge in my book.
-
I agree completely. The positioning of controls is much better, in my opinion, than the X-T1.

I've noticed no issue with balance, but then I would never pick the camera up from that side. It is designed to be picked up from the right. My left hand always goes under the lens. It feels ...
