OIC you're one of those corvette vs F150 type of guys.

I suppose you are right about the D5 being better for low iso and not as rugged but man, oh man, my first and foremost impression with the D500 was that it's DX camera. Cropping all my lenses is ...

door to door for me was a week. thank you nikon! in the week it's in the shop, i think you should rent a body and see how it shoots and what sort of files it produces.
-
i've been frustrated by my naivete as i look for the one camera to rule them all. but you may be right if they (and why wouldn't they) put the D5/D500 AF module in the D850 (D900).

Thank you for chiming in. Please share more as we could all use more photography and less button sniffing

#3 is my favorite. As a parent neatly always in AFC run and gun that just cracks me up. OP As someone who is also finding file variance between Nikon models (for me it's the D750) I feel your pain. ...

OP files look crappy and your Rx is correct (i had to do this with fuji) but i've shot with my d750 for a year and a half and 99% never touch ev adjustment. My rental is next week and if I get ...

AF seems to be a big deal. The big boy and little boy are both being report as extraordinary. I love my f1.4 dreamy bokeh though so the math just doesn't work for the D500 as even the great 35f1.8 ...

Impressive shots. I love seeing an artist use these tools we argue about on the Internet forums.

i just rented the fuji xpro2 for a week. i can tell you that in real world shooting it's a little better than my iphone6. and it has nearly zero AFC ability. it's a slow and go camera that was...

One of the best deals in any system. Please shoot a few wide open so I can see how nice the bokeh is
-
1.4x1.5 makes it a f2.1 so this is a valuable test for me to see as bokeh is a strong concern in my photography
-
Nobody mentions that. I was thinking about how to get my 50mm. It's a preferred prime and I guess I could do the FF 35 but a DX lens as Fuji has developed would be smaller and cheaper.
-
No. It's not tutorials that are needed. I fell for that line while trying to make the sony mirrorless work for me and IME it was simply shocking!!!!! when I finally discarded all the written and ...

i agree. best i've read in a long time. nobody has ever explained the AF delay which i experienced when i tried fuji a year ago. for the smaller size and obviously yummy images produced, i was...

Thanks for sharing your images! Turn out the light and this camera produces images that say "wow". AF tracking sounds amazing. Wish my D750 could do that well. But as a day to day camera (which...

please expand on that challenge. i'm looking at a change as was thinking about mixing things up.

It's not the lens for everyone, that's for sure. Guy at the camera store really rolled his eyes when I mentioned it. But I suffer the price and bulk because the pictures are so good. I do wish I ...

I went D750 and was astonished :-O:-O:-O at how much better is was than my sony a6000. Their marketing is some sweet kool-aid. Sold off all that junk as quick as possible! However, looking back ...
