About me:
I am a family-and-friends fun photographer/videographer/home cinematographer. I bought my 1st (serious) interchangeable lens camera in 2013 (24 June), a Nikon V1. I took a number of (crash) courses and workshops on photography. In December 2013 I bought a Sony A7, and right away I started collecting legacy lenses, which I used adapted on my A7 with great joy. I became an addict of manual focusing mechanical lenses. When my daughter saw my A7 with the Canon FD 70-200mm/f4L, she borrowed the set for a week, then she never gave it back. Instead, she won a competition with this set, where the prize was a Fujifilm X-A1 (May 2014). She was hesitating for a night to keep the X-A1 or giving back the A7 to me, but eventually she gave me the X-A1 and kept the A7. The X-A1 is far from Sony cameras in capabilities, but supports manual focusing with my nice collection of mechanical lenses. I bought and used Metabones Speed Booster and Kipon Tilt-Shift adapter for X-A1, and I became an addict of speed booster and TS photography. Actually I've given up Fujifilm and went back to Sony, since the E mount is so versatile: adaptable and expandable, way much more than any other camera system. In Nov 2015, I bought a Nikon Df to get experience with OVF photography with full-frame. At that time I had Nikon Df, J5, V1 and Sony A5100. |
