DOOM 3
(PC, XBOX)
John Carmack may have no idea how to ice skate or swim in a synchronized fashion, but the boy sure can make one pretty piece of technology. Id's titles are straightforward and DOOM is no exception, but no decent hell cherishing gamer in his right mind would pass up the chance to take a Carmack engine for a spin, especially if it means being able to explode apes with a gun called the BFG.
