GET SATISFACTION COOKIE POLICY

Get Satisfaction's website and application places cookies, which are small text files, on your computer or mobile device when you use Get Satisfaction's service or browse our website. This is standard practice for all websites.

When you visit a Get Satisfaction hosted website we use session cookies to allow us to uniquely identify you while you are logged in and to process your interactions with the Get Satisfaction servers.

We use persistent cookies that only we can read to make it easier for you to log in to the service and use its features. Cookies are also used for performance reasons and for technical reasons such as balancing our website traffic to ensure our customers receive reliable and consistent service.

Session cookies: Session cookies are temporary cookies that expire and are automatically erased whenever your close your browser.

Persistent cookies: These usually have an expiration date far in the future and stay on your computer until they expire, or until you manually delete them.

Essential Cookies: Many of the cookies that we use are essential to the use of the Get Satisfaction application and it will not function correctly without these cookies.

Functional Cookies: We use other cookies to track users' activities on the site, to understand user preferences and improve the user's experience. Some of these cookies are served up from third parties such as Google Analytics, MixPanel and New Relic and are used to understand the behavior of users within the Get Satisfaction application.

Domain aliasing: While most customers use a GetSatisfaction URL for their communities e.g. getsatisfaction.com/mycommunity, some customers use domain aliasing so their community URL might be something like community.acme.org. For customers that use domain aliasing, some of these cookies will be served up from, in this example, community.acme.org and other cookies will be served up from getsatisfaction.com For information about how to delete cookies for your particular browser see http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cookies

By using the Get Satisfaction application, you consent to cookies being used in accordance with our policy. If you do not consent, you must disable cookies or refrain from using the application.
