Can you back that claim? I don't see anything anywhere about it being EOL'ed. It might go out of production at some point, but the same thing could be said about the A6000 that won in its own...

How is it discontinued? You can still buy it on Olympus own website.

I didn't mention the Mark II, I meant the Mark I, which currently sells for the same price as the E-PL7.
-
That's because only few cameras are introduced around the 500$ price points. There are some , but you're often better off with last years midrange options.
-
Quick question: why did you pick the Olympus e-pl7 over the e-m10? They cost the same, but as a whole I'd say the e-m10 is a better packages.

I'm pretty sure those are still pictures in your cycloramas. Actual motion does make experiences much more immersive. Also, there's no reason why you can't have great music and narrators with...

Can you get cycloramas with 60fps refresh rate?

The big deal is that it is micro-SD. It fits inside phones, action cams and tablets.

The weathersealing is a good point and the only case to be made for these. But it comes at a significant loss in terms of image...

You didn't really need to spend time writing this article. A shorter, more consumer-friendly, article would have been: "Why You Shouldn't Spend $500 on a Superzoom" Or alternatively, "Why You...

I'm counting 7 zooms (1 UWA, 4 standard, 1 tele and 1 superzoom) and 12 primes (1 UWA, 4 Wide, 3 standard, 2 macros, and 2 short teles) Meanwhile m43 rocks 3 times as many zooms (3 UWAs, 10...

Looking forward to read each one of those reviews. I'm perplexed by your boat-shot though... It seems one is caught in a gale while the other is in a light breeze

Have another look at the shooting info. It says that the illumination of the entire scene is reduced in the D500 high ISO shots. That explains the larger aperture/longer shutter speeds in the D500.
-
An affordable 85mm f/1,8 should also be a hit.

You seem to assume a lot of things. I've been a Canon user from the very first 10D all the way to the 7D MkI. All of Canons midrange DSLR from that period used to push the boundaries in terms of...

Lackluster AF, build and a lackluster sensor (although DR is improved). Will Canon ever release a compelling midrange product like they used to in the XXD series? Such a shame.
-
Whatever sensor magic Nikon has applied on the D500 sure seems to be working. It is amazing to see how it actually fares better in terms of high ISO and DR than some full-frame cameras like the...

I don't know what to tell you. Perhaps the mods here see the things different than you. Take it up with them and see. And you're right, my initial comment is now out of context as the comments I...

@onlooker, I've been close enough to suffering to know that the unfortunate, exploited and oppressed need a voice. You do not necessarily have to listen to it, but demeaning it as some commenters...

Most of those are remarkable, I especially find the Curse of Coal and the tibetan nomads interesting. All in all, a great selection. Also, while some of these shots are troubling, reading some of...
