How is this holding up?

I just ordered my E-M1, and a blackrapid strap. Due to the blackrapid sling style, the camera will be hanging EVF facing forward, so I'm concerned that EVF burn might be an issue.

I wonder how your solution is holding up after a few months of use.

Can you please explain a little bit more details on the materials? I found the filter gel, and will like you to confirm is this one: http://www.barbizon.com/product_info/Thermashield.html

Now, the clear plastic, you mentioned you used a packing box of AA batteries. I have a packing plastic for some erasers here, but if I put it to my eye, there are certain areas that are not very clear. Is there another material that can be used, that is completely clear? Maybe a gelatin filter of some sort?

UPDATE: Never mind, just found an unused and still in its protective bag iPhone screen protector. Is super clear, and distortion free. And I can get like 12 eyepiece protectors from it.

Only need you to confirm that the link above is the right hot filter, so I can place my order right away.

Thanks
