Pen F / lack of weather sealing / reality?

Every single review of the Pen F laments the lack of weather sealing (especially as compared to the OMD M5 II). I own the M5II, and am considering the F as an alternative for some types of trips.
I owned 7 or 8 Canon digital bodies, the only one being weather sealed was my 1DmIV. I shot plenty of times in rain, light snow, with all the bodies, never experienced a single failure.
What does lack of weather sealing really mean for the F? I mean for someone that doesn't plan to shoot in a hurricane, nor dunk the camera in the ocean.
Real world shooting which might include some light rain or light snow, with the camera being exposed briefly, not sitting on a tripod for hours in the rain.
Thoughts?
